About The Event

We will meet at the pavilion on the east side of the "Dixie" rock at 7:30 am. Access the parking area where the Red Hills Desert Garden sign and turnoff is on Red Hills Parkway and proceed left to the parking near the pavilion. We will share some brief comments to celebrate National Trails Day then get on the trail to beat the heat. The 2.2 mile Pioneer Rim - T-Bone Trail loop will provide inspiration and vistas as we learn about plants and animals observed along the way, and will prime participants for sharing their creative expression through art sketching or poetry upon return to the pavilion. We will cap it off with light refreshments and a group photo and wrap it up by 10-10:30 am. This is part of the Conserve Southwest Utah 20th anniversary year celebrations.
