Liability Waiver

By participating in this event, I acknowledge that activities, including but not limited to walking, hiking, and interacting with natural landscapes, carry inherent risks. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may arise from my participation.

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Conserve Southwest Utah, its partners, affiliates, staff, volunteers, and event sponsors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action related to my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. I understand that it is my responsibility to assess my own physical abilities and take necessary precautions, including wearing appropriate attire and bringing sufficient hydration.

I acknowledge that any children I bring to this event remain my sole responsibility. I accept full liability for their safety and well-being and agree that neither I nor they will hold Conserve Southwest Utah liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur.

Photo Release

I grant Conserve Southwest Utah and its partners permission to capture and use photographs, videos, and other media taken of me during the event. I understand that these materials may be used in promotional materials, publications, social media, websites, and other media platforms to further the mission of Conserve Southwest Utah.

I waive any rights to inspect or approve the finished media, and I release Conserve

Southwest Utah, its partners, and affiliates from any claims related to the use of these images and recordings. I acknowledge that I will not receive compensation for the use of my likeness.

If I do not wish to be photographed or recorded, I understand that I must notify event staff in advance.

I certify that I have read this waiver, fully understand its terms, and acknowledge that by signing below, I am waiving certain legal rights.
