About The Event

We will meet at the trailhead at 8:30 am. Plan to bring work gloves, knee pads (if desired), and a hammer or small mallet for handling poultry wire cages and for driving bamboo stakes to anchor the cages around the plants. Bring a full, refillable water bottle and dress in layers for the weather. There are vault toilets at the trailhead. We will be working within a short walk from the trailhead. Depending on recent climate conditions, we may be watering and pulling weeds from around these start up plants. The project is suitable for volunteers of all ages.
