Time & Location

Jun 27, 2026, 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Cottonwood Trailhead, Red Cliffs NCA, Unnamed Road, Hurricane, UT 84737, USA

About The Event

We will meet at the trailhead at 7:00 am and provide water with small buckets to about 450 young native plants. We will also pull weeds that are competing for moisture from around the plants. We will also anchor any protective cages that have come loose from wind or animals. Plan to bring work gloves, a garden trowel, and a hammer or small mallet for driving bamboo stakes to anchor any loose cages around the plants. An on-site rock will also do. Bring a full, refillable water bottle and dress with sun protection for the weather. There are vault toilets at the trailhead. We will be working within 200 yards of the trailhead. This project is suitable for volunteers of all ages and is part of our Adopt-a-Plot program.
