About The Event
Come learn about the habitat that would be affected by the NCH in a 1-hr presentation, followed by a respectful, guided community discussion.
The Red Cliffs NCA is a rare meeting point of the Mojave Desert, the Colorado Plateau, and the Great Basin, home to the threatened desert tortoise, a species found nowhere else on Earth. Marshall Topham, local biologist, professor, educator, and field expert, will walk us through what's actually at stake so we can have an informed conversation grounded in facts.
FREE and open to the public, although space is limited. Please RSVP so we have an idea of how many are planning to attend. RSVP-ing does not guarantee you a spot at the event, so be sure to arrive on-time.
This event belongs to a 5-part community discussion series about the impacts of the NCH, but you do not need to attend all or prior sessions.
