About The Event

What makes a place feel like home? How do we create communities that reflect what we value most?

Join us for a Strong Towns Washington County conversation inspired by Ryan Short's book The Civic Brand, which explores how communities can intentionally shape their identity and future.

Strong Towns Leadership Team member Susan Crook, who is also a retired landscape architect and staff member at the Book Bungalow, will facilitate a conversation inspired by The Civic Brand. We will explore what it takes to create a shared sense of community identity, what we deeply care about in this region, what makes us feel at home, and how our shared values can inform the choices we make as our region continues to grow.

You don't need to have read The Civic Brand to participate, though we encourage you to take a look at Ryan Short's work:  https://www.civicbrand.com/book

Please RSVP. Space for this meet-up…
