About The Event

We will be hand watering a couple hundred small native plants at the Cottonwood Trailhead in Red Cliffs National Conservation Area. https://maps.app.goo.gl/UiAFo4jXFKN9oTNF7 We will gravity feed water from a portable tank into buckets and then use 2 quart pails to deliver water to the plants. This restoration area is within a hundred yards of the trailhead. Wear layers, sun protection and supportive footwear for walking back and forth from buckets to plants. Bring gloves and a small hammer in case we need to re-secure any of the protective cages around the plants. This project is suitable for volunteers of all ages.
